Antique 3-Track Cast-Iron Cribbage Board: Please Help ID Age & Maker

The upper surface is 11 5/16" long by 2 1/4" wide; weight is 12 5/8 oz. It seems to have been polished an' perhaps even plated (pics 2 & 4) at one time, although there is no evidence of plating on other surfaces. The feet are ground, so it sits dead-flat. The peg holes are ~1/8" diameter on the top, tapering to ~3/32" on the back...there were no pegs with it when I got it ~40 years ago.
I'm about to give it to my daughter, who has just begun playing cribbage; I no longer do, so have no further need. I've tried Google images in hopes of finding one like it, but without success.
Can any of you offer clues as to where, when, an' by whom it was produced? I'll be most grateful for all your comments, an' thank you for lookin'!

It doubles as a trivet for the Cribbage enthusiast!

FB can be very useful, but you wanna create a foolproof alias/phony identity-who needs odd bits of our past poppin' in ?
Re-The Cribbage piece,I assume you've scoured it visually for teensy Patent #'s/dates ?
