I'm not sure but I've had this painting on about 3 sites.I got better pictures, this painting is Belgium painting with a registered number,Signed at bottom.Maybe someone can help me.I dd find something that stated this was maybe around WW2 or WW1 the paintings were registered. This came out of a storage auction sale. Painting of Paris, with the Sacré Coeur in the background.
I can't read the stamp very well, but it could say "painted in Aalst". Aalst is a town in Belgium.

OP's painting is of a Flemish landscape, so a Belgian subject. Signed Rots, which means rock. It looks like an amateur painting.

This one doesn't look antique to me either.

    Agree.
The people remind me of Lowry paintings.;)

I wonder if these paintings were made in some sort of occupational therapy project in Aalst (if I read the name right).

Agreed not antique as not 100+ years old. Done by someone with art training but doesn't appear to be the work of a fully-formed artist.

I think both stamps are the same, and I see it as "Painted in Belgium".

Both do not look very old. The eBay painting is a little newer, as it has a higher registration number.

I also got information that Belgium painting were given register numbers to protect them from being stolen, it appears at one time painting was restored, but not sure.thanks all,I welcome all comments and corrections
