Found this book at an estate sale today and was intrigued! First American Edition, Stewart & Cochran MDCCXCV. There's a faint handwritten name and year inside.

I'm having a hard time learning anything about this book. Can anyone help?

Here's another with significant water damage.

certainly a deeply philosophical book when discussing if Christ led a Christian life.
