Antique Bowl Info?

    I purchased a bowl awhile back and have no info on its age. It’s in immaculate condition and because of the stamp on the bottom, can’t help but feel like it’s old - I could be wrong. Does anyone know anything about it?

    The IG mark is from Imperial Glass, but I am not an expert on dating glass marks so someone else will need to chime on on age,

    Ddoty shows these dates

    [​IMG] Imperial Marks
    Devised in 1951, Imperial used this mark on their glass until 1972. The mark has a capital "G" superimposed over a stylized letter "I."

    OMGOSH - yes that’s it!! Awesome, thank you! I just haven’t seen or can’t find any other bowls similar to this one. So I appreciate the information.

    Imperial flooded the market with "old looking" white glass about the time a couple of books on Antique Milk Glass hit the market, ca. 1947-8.
