Antique Bronze Hindu Figures On Lacquered Board Signed

    I've had this for years.I listed it on another forum and was told might be Hindu god Lord Balaji or Lord Vishnu.Not sure what it is.Bronze figures on lacquered board.Signed on back with a date I think but I just can't make it out.     That is right, the one on the right is Balaji or Venkateswara, a specific form of the Hindu divinity Vishnu. The one on the left is his consort, Padmavati, also known as Alamelu.
    It is from south India. It is a plaque with images of famous statues in a temple, and used for home devotion.

    These are mass produced to be sold in places of pilgrimage, I think it could be a manufacturing code. If those are numerals they are likely to be in Tamil, a southern Indian language and script.
