Antique Bronze Mounted Marble Top Louis XV Rosewood French Commode

Recently I bought this Commode, do you think that's from nineteenth century?



I also bought these bronze chandeliers, and I am in love with them lol.

It's hard to tell from a photograph of the outside, but they're sure pretty! I'd give it all house room too. Do you think the brasses on the chest are regilded?

why is the top left diamond so small ?

 

I noticed that small diamond too, maybe a repair. Or secret code.

 

I was thinking repair , but the pics are not clear enough to make that out..

 

Going on a faulty memory here but long ago I was told that original pieces of that style date from 18th C., then there was a revival in the early 20th C. and most such pieces you see that aren't in museums now are from the revival period.

 

Not chandeliers, they're candelabras.
