    I have spent days trying to identify a chair I lost in a fire not long ago and could really use some help. I've been unable to narrow the style down, searches including Louis XIII and Empire yielded the closest results. If anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate it, thank you!

    Welcome to the board, sorry for the loss of your items.

    I'd say early 1900s.

    @verybrad for style name.

    Yes, VeryBrad might have ideas for style names if he sees this post.

    Also so sorry for the items you lost in the fire. That must be difficult.

    Kindest regards to you.

    It is post WWI historical revival furniture. Doesn't replicate any particular historical style but does incorporate elements. I think if you look at some William and Mary chairs you will see some similarities but not exact.
