Antique chair

Not really my area of expertise but the fabric makes me think 19th century Italian Renaissance. Just as likely that it is English. Possibility that it is even older but I can't tell from this picture. What is the provenance?

Could we see the crest on the back of the chair? It looks like the crest of Herentals in Belgium:

The chair could be from Mechelen near Herentals. It is a Belgian furniture town with a distinct style. I couldn't find a chair like yours, but you can see the Mechelen style here:
