Antique Chinese Bronze Censer?

    Hi all,

    Can anyone tell me anything about this object. I guess that it is a censer, or maybe a dish? Appears antique.

    The handles look like quite an unusual form to me,, not foo dogs or phoenix, maybe dragons? They look more like horse or ox heads to me but I don't think they would be?

    20cm diameter.

    Would love your thoughts, thanks!

    The surface appears artificially applied which would indicate it's not as old as it purports to be.
