This has a certificate of authenticity as being qing dynasty medallion of a dragon. No stamp but certificate of authenticity dated it to at lest 1870s. Any ideas to find out more about it?

Hi Estater - It would be helpful to get your take on what material this medallion is made of - pottery of some kind? a metal? Measurements? When you say "No stamp" does that mean there are no markings anywhere on it? Where is the COA from?

Well, you must be right then, as a dragon would surely recognize one of its kin. :)

Could we see the back as well, please, and a photo of the certificate?
Did it say it was from that period, or the style being of that period?

It is very nice, but it looks like a replica to me. I could be wrong of course. It is certainly a lion, with that short nose and curly mane, not a dragon....
