Featured Antique French faience plate with goat, age?

    Hello! This is my second auction item of the day. It is plate, only marked "France" on the base and appears to be older? It measures 9.5" across. Can you tell what age it might be? Any other info welcome and appreciated as well. Thank you!

    Being marked “France” it’s unlikely to be any earlier than 20th century although when in the 20th century I don’t know.

    Lovely plate. It looks like it could be St Clément faience, from Lorraine or that general region.
    They started in the 18th century and are now reproducing their 18th century faience. They began reproduction sometime in the 20th century, but I don't know when exactly. Maybe if you google them you can find when.

    St Clément was bought by Sarreguemines ceramics, if that helps.
