Antique Fringe? Help With Dating and Description

    I've never seen fringe like this. The header is dense and very detailed. Ivory cotton that has darkened with age.

    I've searched all over the internet and could not find any like this. Thanks for any help...

    This would be described as a passementerie fringe, and was woven on a narrow band loom, similar to upholstery gimp.
