Antique GOLD? Cufflinks. Who Dunnit?

Gotta get these tested for gold. Any idea who made 'em? Is that considered a clover design? TIA!!

 

Very pretty! My first thought was clover too as that was a common theme for Victorian jewelry.

I would think though that it would be 3-leaf or 4-leaf if it was clover, so IDK. Maybe a forget-me-not flower?

Pansy. Or heartsease if you're doing language of flowers. Very common on Victorian sentimental jewellery.

 

Took the words right out of my mouth, Owned. And, given the date, I'll bet they were indeed given as "heartsease."

 

I'm very fond of that whole flower language thing. And it can be very useful in dating pieces, too!
