I found this at my local thrift store a few days ago - it was priced at $150. Yesterday the manager said I could have it for $75 but I didn't get it. Today I asked him if he waould take $60 for it & he agreed.
    What did I get?
The old rusted nails make me think it has age, but I'm not sure. I love the face & arched neck though.
And I know it's missing it's tail - I thought about breaking a mop & putting it there for photos!
    It measures 33"H x 35"L x 12"W
Is this a old handmade folk art wood rocking chair or just s made to look old one?
As always I appreciate your help!

I certainly don't know anything about rocking horses but the whitewashed pastel wood looks a lot like some fairly modern wood items I've seen.

I did find an auction that says second half of the 20th C. This one says sold for $50.

I like the OP's best. He looks as if he galloped over from the Orient to show us how to do it!

Those all appear to be recent Asian imports.

Yep it's probably new. I thought there was ... something, but the old nails (and maybe the $100 discount) fooled me.
    Thanks all
