    IMG_6408.jpeg IMG_6411.jpeg IMG_6412.jpeg IMG_6410.jpeg Hello all,
I have this old Fortuna pendant of my great grandmother's that I would like to sell, and I am in the process of compiling information on it

I have found the 750 / 18 karat gold mark on the suspension ring, but where I initially thought it might be a double stamp - upon closer examination it is apparent that there is a maker mark that was either not fully realized or worn down.

I had taken a video while moving the piece around so as to facilitate the lighting, but I cannot post a video here, so I have taken a few sequential photos of the video.

All I can tell you is that the piece is likely pre-1968 and probably bought in Campania/Napoli...

    Thanks for any input!

I'm sorry I couldn't post a picture of the entire medal, but the file seemed to be too large...

The shape of the marks indicates it was marked between 1944 and 1968, so not antique.
Unfortunately we can't say anything else without a legible maker's registration number (the badly stamped mark). With the number are also the initials of the region, so we can't tell you that either.

You mentioned these photos are stills from a video. Maybe try taking a regular photo. No flash please, that will reflect too much and cause blurring.

Yes, it would have been bought post WWII as my g-grandmother didn't travel back to Italy until after the war.
I do have a still, but the captures seemed to illustrated the different plays on the light. I was hoping to get what kind of looked like an 88 to appear more clearly.. Screenshot 2025-05-07 180057.png

Am I right in thinking there are the initials IS on the right? If so it was marked in Isernia, in southern Italy.
