IMG_8995.JPG IMG_8994.JPG IMG_8994.JPG Hello, I'm new to the forum and I would love help placing the origin and any other information one of you may have on this lamp. I purchased the set over twenty years ago in Upstate New York, they're considerably heavy and have mica panels. I thought they had a "Moorish" influence, I've done some research but come up empty each time. I appreciate any feedback, Thanks!

It was very old when I bought it? I've been collecting for over thirty years:)

What is it made of? Is the base bronze and the shade gesso over wood? Can you show a picture of the bottom of the base please? Nice lamp!

Thank you anund. Makes it much better to see. My gut tells me 40"s when plaster was all the rage in lamps. Could still be newer but without seeing crucial areas it's hard to tell

That looks like them. They were stating wood with gesso. OP stated his are plaster? If they are wood then 1920s would fit.

I am on board with a 20s-30s date for these. A bit too fussy for an earlier 20th century date but the mica panels do put them fairly early. By the 40s, these would have been deemed a bit too old fashioned.
