I love this antique vase. Not sure who was the maker or how old it is. It has a very beautiful hand painted organic floral design. It stands 10" in height. I was wondering if any of you could tell me something about it. 3aicsxFZFJ5lsGtwn8fd4w.jpeg iF3FAQILi7-is8ZlXRCptg.jpeg GDLNjWkg1VEIEmg1-R4xlQ.jpeg

From the top view it makes me think that possibly it was a lamp. Is there a small hole drilled in the side or in the bottom?

Deruta-ish with asian influence...that was my take. There is something about the flowers/pods/leaves design that makes it seem different from "Mexitalian".
Not a very helpful suggestion, probably:joyful:...but I will try to clarify with some more research.:bookworm:

I've never seen anything quite like that ware. Certainly not Spain. Certainly not Portugal. I'd look further east.

Mystery still not solved? Just wanted to add that the meander would lead one toward Greece (although it's used elsewhere, of course.)
