I purchased this piece and found that it was built by Jacques Furniture from Toronto Ontario...prior to 1920 i think..because Eaton's bought the company in the 1920's. Can anyone help me identify this piece and the type of wood veneer? This is my first "antique" piece and interested in finding out origin etc

A quick tip on posting photos IF you are using a phone. . .email them to yourself as 'medium' and it should resize them. They have to be under 1MB.
