Antique Rocking Chair

    A0F288CD-FAFF-48DC-8F42-EA6713B6A669.jpeg E267D8A0-A3E8-4454-AA8F-5BCF45B0DD13.jpeg This chair has been in my husband’s family for years. His grandmother rocked him in it when he was a baby.     Hi DL6,
    Nice chair. Maybe you can rotate your pics so we don't have to lay down to enjoy your chair? :) Furniture folks will be along hang in there.

    Well it's a pressed-back rocker dating perhaps to around 1905-1915 or so, design on the back is a bit unusual, a little bit transitional Art Nouveau, usually the designs on these are less nouveau-ey.

    Seat was likely leather or pressed cardboard simulating leather originally.
