Antique rug I just purchased.

    Rug I just bought, 700 series Karastan.

    Owner states no stains but had been cleaned before selling to me.


    As seen in pictures there seems to be darker areas in the rug? Does this effect value? And what are these areas from?

    Hopefully someone will be along real soon to help you out with rug. In the mean time I would suggest you go back & edit out your phone number. Since this is a public forum you may not want just anyone to get a hold of theis type of information. JMHO
