This is the 2nd painting I bought from a friend's antique shop. Not only is the name hard to read, but it looks lie the tail end of it went under the frame!
I tried adjusting the contrasts but it didn't help much.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,
I am staying away from the paintings that are being posted. I see too many "factory" paintings. I think that I am too old and can not see well enough to comment on them.

It is lovely. Looks like somewhere in the Andes.
Is there a way to take it out of the frame safely, so we can see more of the signature?

Certainly does look Andean. Frame overwhelms a bit (a lot.)

Likely not "Solguw... " as no "w" in the Spanish alphabet.
