WOW! The "entrapments" on that look pretty fancy!! I can't help, but others can..... @verybrad, @James Conrad and others!! By the way, if you go back in and EDIT, click on the very top image that says "post EVERY image FULL SIZE, it will eliminate the thumbnails and we will all see nice enlarged images!!! Thank you so much!!!

Another way to enlarge images for those on phones to see.

Edit - More Options then Full Image next to each picture.

Oh, and it looks like a dresser.
    Maybe measurements might help someone.

Oh, and actually, I see 'Spillier' for the last name, but, I too came up with nothing of value...........and I'm not at all sure of that first name.....

Pictures are not sufficient to really evaluate this. Good chance that it is at least 19th century but could be older.

Definitely Seillier. it is on both sides of the drawer and the S E is more visible on the other side. I at first thought the same thing.
    Thanks you.

if there was a space between Bourg and Ain it could make sense. the city of Bourg in the department of Ain. Seillier is a quite frequent family name.

There appears to be not difference in the spacing. BourGain looks to be joined. The only thing I have found related to the exact name was the Mayor of Portel from 1898 to 1900, Emmanuel Louis Marie Bourgain Seillier.

    Thank You!
