I've never been to an auction before, and over the past few weeks, I've been visiting my local auction-house and attending auctions. Today was the first time I bid and won something! I got a box-lot of silver-plate and junk and whatever.

I'll sell the silverplate off cheap. But in among the trash and trouble, I did find...

Three-piece sterling silver condiment set! Salt-cellar, pepper-pot and mustard-pot. They all have their original blue glass liners, except the salt cellar one is pretty badly smashed up!! I'll find a replacement at the local flea-market and then sell the whole lot! It's marked for Birmingham, 1934.

In among a handful of cheap, silverplate cutlery, I also found...

Sterling silver fork (top) and 800-continental silver fork (bottom) (coin for scale).

For $75.00 incl. premium, and all the other stuff in the box, I reckon I'll get a good return on this :)

Great finds! I've been finding some sterling lately, it's such a rush!
