Antique tub chair, advice required please!

Hi all,

I've just acquired this beautiful chair today and was wondering if anyone knows anything about it, including it's era?
It's been recently re-upholstered so the fabric is not original, but I'm very intrigued by it.

Any help greatly appreciated.

The wood color doesn't look right for an older chair.
Maybe the photo, maybe it was redone when the chair was reupholstered.

I also think this looks like a newer reproduction.
