Antique Wood Triangle

    I picked up this wood drawing triangle at an estate sale. It is in very good condition, probably early 1900's my guess. I am trying to identify the manufacturer, which I'm guessing that's what the logo or initials are for. Any ideas as to where to search for the logo?     Looks to be a pyrography mark, burnt into the wood. Perhaps a college piece crafted by a student/draughtsman?

    I will look into the original family of the old home, maybe one of their initials. There were were other acrylic triangles, but this one was unusual. Thanks!

    Another sign that it's probably a family or personal mark is that the top of the A has a mistake in that the leg of the D doesn't go through the hole in the A. Here's a rough idea what I mean:
