IMG_2530-compressed.jpeg IMG_2533-compressed.jpeg IMG_2532-compressed.jpeg Hey everyone, long time lurker, first time poster here.
I’m trying to identify this chandelier that I recently bought for my home. According to the person that I bought it from, it allegedly came from a high end Trump residential property in New England.
The piece came with a white box marked “Prairie” and “Switzerland” of extra crystals. A search of that company only turned up skincare products.
I tried a reverse image search through google with no luck.

if anyone has any insight for me I would greatly appreciate it. I’m curious if it may end up being worth something. I paid $400 for it.

Thank you all and be safe

Well , you paid up but I doubt that it's 100 years old !
& linking it to some famous person...... will be a stretch with out documentation.....or a photo of it , on site !

    It's lovely , though !!!;)

Most of these older ones have glass made in Italy, though I am sure that many modern ones would be made in China. Some of the cheaper ones use plastic for the arms. Looks like this uses a combination of smoked and clear glass. Makes me think 70s or later

I sold a similar one a few years ago and I believe it had Made in Spain (Barcelona?) stamped on it. It was vintage -not antique.

The socket covers are aluminum? And smoked glass? 1970s or a bit on, I'd think too.

    And "George Washington slept here".

As far as I am concerned, a possible "Trump residential property" item is most likely a scam :(

Once upon a time he had a home in Greenwich with his first wife Ivana. Everyone remembers Ivana, don't they? She's the wife he buried on his golf course so he could take a tax deduction. RIP.

Thanks for all your responses so far guys! Just to elaborate on the (unverified) Trump claim, the seller wasn’t alleging that it was his personal home lol, just allegedly a rental property owned by him. I only mentioned it in the off chance that some chandelier expert on here might know a common maker known to be used at his properties. I’ll attach a picture of the box that came with it as well. Thanks again!

also ignore the attached images and the mention of La prairie. That’s just a box my wife used without telling me :D

Her and my father in law went to pick it up and after talking to her and getting some more info she said that’s the box that came with it but the seller just used it to store the extra crystals. After looking up how much those cosmetics cost I’m glad it’s not her box lol. She also said it came from Trump Park Residences in Shrub Oak, NY.

Then I would assume an interior designer decorated the property and supplied the chandelier.

Sounds like the odds of identifying the actual piece are slim. I appreciate the help anyway

Yes, if it's unmarked. Lots of possible manufacturers.
