Hey.. Thanks.. :) There are no marks apparently, would it be possible to even guess it's age based on the design?

    Size please.

With all the wear showing, it may have been a watch fob and not a pendant. The detailing looks early 1900s. Possibly gold, or rolled gold.

However jade claws like that have been around and are still being made. If it turns out to be from the 1940s-70s, then it may have been on a charm bracelet.

    Again size might help.

Always good to put a coin or something to help with size in at least one of the photos. :)

Definitely meant to echo this sort of thing, using actual tiger claws:

Anyone know whether the fashion for this sort of thing corresponded with the British Raj in India? I associate tiger claw jewellery with that whole great white hunter vibe, but... Agree watch fob is a strong possibility.

I think tiger claw jewellery like the one you showed is Singaporean. But I'm sure other tiger regions had tiger claw jewellery as well.

It does, and yours is from the same period. The engraved designs on both are of the type started in the Aesthetic period, 2nd half of the 19th century, and continued in the early years of the 20th century.
The stone of the fob in the link is called Pounamu, Greenstone, Maori or New Zealand jade. All the same names for a green nephrite jade found on the South Island of New Zealand.
In the 19th and early 20th century, most gold items with NZ jade were made in Australia, in 9ct gold or in silver. In Australia the Aesthetic motifs were still used in the 1920s.
I think your fob could be slightly older than the one in the link, but can't tell for sure if it is NZ jade. Could you take a photo where you hold it against the light, so we can see the translucency?

Wow... thank you for sharing these interesting facts... here are some images that shows translucency...
I also have a couple of other jade pieces (Image no. 4) which were cut and polished more than 40 years ago, they could be from Burma or China. Do these Jade have any commercial value?

Thanks, Kavinda. I think the jade is pounamu, NZ jade. Here is a pinterest page with antique pounamu, mostly with gold mounts:

(It is an nl page because I'm in the Netherlands, but that doesn't affect the content.)
