just bought this pair of crystal wall sconces,seller dated it very late 19th c.
any of your idea will be appreciated

There is an etched mark on the spire. Maybe that will lead to dating. I can't help but maybe if you took a closeup straight on . . .

You could be right. It looked etched to me.

 

Just saying what I see. If it were "etched" what's the white rectangle? Pretty ugly spot to put something permanent.

 

I tried to blow it up. It looks like writing, maybe to identify something about it? I could not make out any numbers, but it had BETTER NOT be maring such a cool piece!

Hard to see what you've got from the photographs. They appear to be electrified. Did seller have a very late 19th century explanation for that?
