    Hi,
I know it’s hard to see but wondering if anyone recognizes this mark on the clasp for these pearls. Not sure if it’s the mark for the pearls or clasp. I thought Honora but now I thinks it’s a W

Also, I’ve heard the ere is a possible way of telling if they are natural or cultured by shining a bright light through them. Any ideas? They are not uniform. I think the set is a bit older because of the 14k mark. They are rather large at approx 8-9mm, knotted in between, and approx 35” in length. I was stoked to find these type of pearls in th is length cause normally they are choker or too short

    Thank you for any help

    Penny for size reference

Nice find, gauntlett, although at first I thought I was looking at an amber necklace.:playful:
Not a distinction I am aware of.
No idea what size a penny is, but your fingers give an idea of the size. Nice size pearls.
I'm guessing it is by an American or Asian maker, so I will leave this to our US joolies.:)

I’m thinking since these have no nucleus, they might be natural.

The size of a penny is .75 inch/approx.19mm.

Why I know that my kids would weigh the change I gave them instead of rolling them.
