Any Idea On What type of Porcelain Plate This Is???

    Hi Guys and Gals, Any Idea on what type of plate this is. on the bottom theres a impressed mark ( 1040, 59, 2) I was thinking it was some type of date mark or Model#. Could this possibly be Limoges???

    FWIW, I think that the flowers are done by a hobbyist china painter on a plate with factory gilding. Usually done on “blanks” but I think whoever painted the flowers did a nice job. Dunno who made the plate, but maybe late 19th/early 20th c.
