Any idea what metal this might be?

I received this necklace in a large lot of vintage sterling silver scrap DSCN6577.JPG DSCN6597.JPG . It's 18" long and 23 grams. It's non-magnetic. The clasp is marked "925 ITALY". I acid tested the beads and it showed nothing but yellow, no red.
Could it have any value beyond the inner chain possibly being silver? What other test might I try and what MIGHT I be looking for?
    Thanks again for your time,
    Karl.

I suspect it's one of the fake "silver" ones that are marked Italy, but never saw the country. The value would be decorative only, sadly.

Agree. Although many of those were actually made in Italy, which used to be as much of a fakers paradise as Thailand is now.

And Mexico, I can't tell you how many of those bracelets with the carved faces I have come across false marked as silver!

I WAS hoping but not expecting that someone would say "that's a really rare metal" although I suspected it to be junk. Most of my JUNK "silver" comes from China and India. Personally, I believed ANY Italian and Mexican stuff was good.
Gullible me, EH? Ah, I still buy a lottery ticket every once in a while.

    Thanks for the input,
    Karl.

I believe yellow on the test means tin or lead but I could be wrong.
