Any ideas about this small table?

    Hello,
    I’ve found many treasures in my late grandmother’s basement and this small table was a recent find. I was wondering if the little finials on the bottom are just decorative or if there is some kind of purpose to them? Any ideas on the age of this table?     1920s-30s. Finials are decorative.
