Any thoughts of origin of this horse and carriage. 140mm long

Java, Indonesia. Possibly at one time silverplate, from Kota Gedé (Djokja/Yogya style).
My 1950s Djokja lotus bracelet (sterling, rare for the period) has a similar design:

Mid-century pieces are better quality. You can't make an age estimate based on those lotus designs, they are over a thousand yrs old.
I guess yours was made in the years after they kicked out the last remaining Dutch, 1966, and killed anyone who might possibly have a 'communist' great-uncle. Those years were violent, confused and complicated, with little time for quality control. So yes, a little later than mid-century.
