I found this today at a thrift store. I can't see a signature but the back has been taped completely so there may be one on the back somewhere.
It reminds me a a artist (whose name I can't remember of course!) whose known for his...funny... faces/figures. (I know I'll remember as soon as I post this!)
    The painting itself measures 10.5" x 8.5"
Does anyone have any ideas who might have painted this?
Thoughts on it with or without a signature?
    Thank you!
PS - While measuring it I looked closer & I'm not sure if it's on copper; it has a varnish that may have made it feel that way to me?

It reminds me of Chroma Mona, one version of it. I think many of old school European painters used copper as a medium. I’m sure it’s used today too, it’s nice and smooth.

The frame might be nice if you put a mirror in it.

Who did it? I like it - it's got a cubist feel to it; really nice!
