Any ideas on rocking/reclining chair's maker or era?

Old chair has me curious--underneath it looks like the original fabric was kind of like fiberglass and bright red and pegs were used (see side pics)...age/maker ideas? Lots of retro in this house. Thanks.

It screams early 1970s to me, I remember the things!

 

I think more like 50s-60s if in the US. That colonial styling was pretty well gone here by the 70s. .

 

Thanks guys, it was a neat chair, but got to be very uncomfortable!
