If anyone can help with information on this it is appreciated. It is and made with orange clay base. I think it is Signed but can’t make it out. Found it interesting 3DFB3198-96A2-4B67-9CFE-C57C84E32C90.jpeg 37B0D624-4A93-4C26-B706-7F2DF7419421.jpeg 514B1500-5E45-477A-893B-CF757218A2D2.jpeg 78FF8F16-E64B-47C9-A1A3-E8DCEB376FE1.jpeg B42B8AAA-84D2-468E-8B1F-C8058D754DC3.jpeg

    1980s decorator piece, I suspect.

I am with Ownedbybear on this. Material and finish is not right for a "good" piece.

80s forward modernist ovoid clay open sculpture art stamped is probably about as specific as you’re going to get with it.

Not really and if you want to relate it to the influence of another British artist for your own head, it relates more to Barbara Hepworth than Moore but isn’t remotely either.

I do think it’s attractive and salable.

    I'm with the others.
Agree. If you squint at it from a great distance, a piece with a hole could be faintly reminiscent of Barbara Hepworth's work, but even squinting from a great distance won't get you anything even vaguely resembling a Henry Moore.

Crim, just enjoy it, things don't have to be anything.

Referencing any artist other than the one who made the actual object is keyword spam but IMO it’s a waste to contact the seller and could be construed as interference. Depending on the selling platform it could be reported as keyword spam which most venues will ignore. My opinion is to let it go but don’t make the same mistake.
