    Often sold filled.

    These were popular in the 1950s/60s
    Originated from several areas.
    Italy, Japan, Austria.

    I've seen blue. I don't think this is Italian, they tend to have gondolas and Venetian scenes. Bohemia, I suspect with that deep blue and the random thick gilding.
