Any info on a Turkish Taspinar rug I found at thrift store?

I bought this rug at a local thrift store. I did a google image search and it said it's a Turkish taspinar rug? But I looked on ebay & couldn't find a tapinar rug (I did find some with google) for sale - is it a common rug?
What does tapinar mean?
How old is it?
It also seems to be an unusual size - 66" x 45" (5ft 6 inches x 3ft 10 inches) - is this a normal measurement?
Finally, I saw "tapinar" rugs on a google search ranging for sale from $500 - $2,000+ - how can I tell it's value?
Any information/help with this would be greatly appreciated!
PS - While posting the photos I noticed in the 2 pics of the back of the rug & the photo just before the photos of the back, you can see a small part of the sewing along the edge is more red/pink than the orange - ish color - is this a repair?
