Featured ANY INFO ON ANTIQUE HORSE BIT & BRASS HORSE HEADS

    I got this at a yard sale today & have tried to find a similar one online but haven't.
    Can anyone tell me what I have?
    I also got these cool brass horse heads but I can't figure out what they are for. They have 2 holes (screw holes?) on the inside but there's no outer hole where the screw or nail goes in. What are these?

    Hi,
    Your horse heads look like they were mounted on a board from the back. I would use them as a tie rack.

    What size are those horse heads???? And WOW!!!....I went looking for bridle bits, because I thought the one you posted I hadn't seen before.....but stumbled across this story that I HAVE to post.....it's truly NOT that squeamish, but I was blown away..... the message is DON'T MESS WITH A TRUSTY MULE!!!!!

    That is awesome!! I love mules. My parents neighbor keeps donkeys with his cattle because they are very protective and will take care of varmits too.

    That's the bit! I thought it was older!
    I would like a donkey as a pet - I have a 1 acre yard, so I could stop having it mowed, but I don't know the zoning for donkeys in Miami

    i found out a few years back when the auto wreckers bought 2 of them to be junkyard mules .

    Never saw a mini donkey, but the mini horses, they are so cute.
