Featured Any info on artist of 1969 painting? Thoughts on Dali - ish Ponce de Leon painting?

    I found this today at a local thrift store & thought it was cool - especially when I saw the 1969 date, but googling I. Guez & Iguez didn't bring up anything.
    Does anyone know who the artist was?
    Thoughts on painting if by an unknown?

    Is it a watercolor on paper? Or painted on canvas?

    Signature does look like "Iguez." Not a Spanish surname but might be someone using a shortened version of Rodríquez which is one of the most common surnames in Spain.
