Any info on big, old russian tea/coffee urn w/stamped medals that uses coal to heat(?!)

I found this at the thrift store last week - I've learned it's a SAMOVAR (I think - mine has different name (in russian) stamped into it - last photo) and it heats tea or coffee with coal??
Is this a Samovar? Is that true it uses coal?
Any way to tell how old it is?
It has medals(?) or awards stamped on it - would a antique one have these?
Any help would be appreciated.

That's the name of the manufacturer. There was one in Tuva who won many awards, which is what the round marks indicate.

 

So would I call it a tuva when selling?

Of course, thanks. Tuva is in another part of Russia. Shamanic, so of interest to me and it comes to my mind too easily.
