I found this large (14" H x 9" W) tree pot? at a local thrift store today, I didn't know anything about it, but for $14.95 I thought it was great deal!
    Was it?
Any idea how old it is or where it's from?
What are the designs on it?
On the bottom are those markings or just marks from making it?
Thank you for any help, it's greatly appreciated!

Is the 9" wide dimension at the upper rim?

    Yes, it is 9" across
I got measurements backwards when remeasured it - it's about 14" wide x 9-10" high with a 9" wide mouth at top

    And it is!

It looks Mughal style, although probably after the period, my guess ca 1900, could be a bit older.
Possibly Kashmir or further west into Pakistan. (Kashmir is divided between India and Pakistan)

It used to be one country, so difficult. I think you're safe with using the terms Mughal style, antique, and Kashmir.
