I found this at my regular thrift store today, but an image search didnt turn up one like mine?
It's meant to hang from the ceiling I think because of the curled at the top, but ut also stands alone. (It's 31" tall x 22' wide)
Also there looks like 2 exhaust pipes on each end - do flames come out of these for light?
Has anyone seen this type before?
    Any idea of age?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Looks like something seen in a saloon, billiard hall or store (you know-those high stamped metal ceilings).Examine it closely for a patent date and any manufacturers marks.

These are called gas pressure lamps, and worked like a Coleman lantern with pressurized kerosene. Yours looks similar to some made by Nagel Chase mfg. and
    Nulite -

Both examples are from this site, which has lots more information about gas pressure lanterns, lamps, stoves, heaters and irons -

This is the 2nd one I got; there was only 1 but I thought there should be a pair?
There's 1 more I may go look at tomorrow - it's a 2 header WITH the glass shades!
I only took my 2 to the front to show him because I thought he was going to quote me a ridiculous price, but he said both for $40 & I just paid and left (& forgot about the 3rd one!)
Are these turn of century/1920's? (We're these used in cowboy days, like maybe in a saloon?)
Thank you again for your help everyone (I'd say happy memorial day, but no one is happy while waiting to see what Trump comes up with next)
I apologize for going off on a tangent & thank you again.

Nah, you did fine. Good profit. Hopefully you went back and got that other one.

You mentioned the other had shades. Depending on type, they can go from $100-$200 or more a piece.
