ANY INFO ON NUDE WHITE RESIN(?) STATUE

    Hi
    I found this today at a friend's .2nd hand furniture store - he found it in a storage unit he won at auction.
    At first I thought it was alabaster but it's not cool to the touch & not as heavy as I think alabaster would be.
    It measures 8.5" x 8.5" x 4"
    There is a tiny chip on base; maybe that look under the top can help someone know what it's made of?
    Also, no signature that I can see.
    He wanted $20 for it; did I do OK?

    Appears to be marble but could be resin. Decorative value pretty much.

    The base looks like marble to me, but I'm not sure what the woman is.

    What's up with the two circles on the bottom? Is that how the top piece is affixed to the base? Or? Felt? I can't tell.
