    I found these in a box of things my sister gave me. The only markings on them is MADE IN CANADA on the bottom of each.
    Any idea who made them or when they're from?
    Are they toys or background for some set?
    Thank you!

    Journey, might they be lead?

    They remind me of old toy soldier "flats" - but with a wild kingdom theme.

    Are they heavy? Appear to be brass plated. Maybe brass plated pot metal.

    That "Brass" coloring is on the high points that would wear the most. If anything that would mean a plating OVER brass - but why plate brass?

    I was thinking more like tarnish.
    And yes I agree those look like high points. But on the stag, they don't make sense. If you were to grab the stag - I would think it would be more in the middle, not the rump or shoulder. More like where the buffalo shows wear.

    I’m not sure that says Canada. Can you show some others?

    Toys? Model for a zoo or African scenery?
    Size seems consistant with that, now they are plastic.

    I think you are onto something.
    The "N"s are all backwards.

    Something China used to do in the early 1900s.

    @journeymagazine
    Did your sister say where she got these?

    They were in a box of our mom's stuff
    It looks like Canada to me but I'll unwrap them & look again
