    Beautiful!

How tall is it? Any information or name on the movement? How much does it weigh?

Well thank you! Its 39cm H and feels pretty heavy (probably because of the bronze). As for the movement I can try uploading other pictures because i really don't know.

Afantiques is a member here who is brilliant with clocks. He is English I believe and tends to be on here later in the evening. He should see the tag and give his insight.

af will probably want a look at the movement. If it's original, that will be a very telling point.

Boulle was made by sandwiching plates of brass and tortoiseshell and then cutting a pattern through both simultaneously. The bits are then re-arranged. A tortoiseshell ground with brass inlay is called "premier partie", but the process also produced parts for a brass ground with tortoiseshell inlay that was known as "contre partie". It looks like yours is primarily contra partie. Makes you wonder if there's a premier partie version of the same clock.

It appears to be a 19th C French bell striking clock in the 18th C style Popularised by several 18th C clockmakers before the revolution cut off the heads of most customers for expensive clocks.
A shot of the movement uploaded, and then select 'full image' please, thumbs are a pain in the arse. So are tiny pictures.
Do open the back door before photographing the movement. (works)

It appears to be a 20th . C reproduction of the earlier form. The ting-tang striking movement is the giveaway. Not just for the type of strike but some constructional details.
    Good quality but not antique.
