    Hey all,

We have this clock which is mounted on a slab of stone. The decorating is hand painted. The clock face reads "Falkenberg" or "Folkenberg" and "PARIS". On the back of the clock one piece says Depose.

The whole piece stands 6" tall, 4" wide and 2" deep, and the face itself is 2" diameter.

    Thank you!

Bet it was part of a desk set.

Go over it with a fine tooth comb for hallmarks too, just in case. That metal surround is making my "nose" twitch. The stone is of course stone. It looks like it was always one piece, and the French are notorious for using itty bitty hallmarks and hiding those suckers.

    G. Falkenberg was known as a silver house and some lovely examples of work can be found on internet. Good reason for twitchy nose.

I'll lay odds the surround was made in England.
