Featured Any Information or Thoughts on Old? Large (35"T) Brass? or Copper? Plant Stand w/Lion Head Handles

I found this today hunting a thrift store! It just came in from a home that also donated 2 5ft + African nail fetish statues + a zebra skin chaise lounge & other cool & expensive pieces so I'm hoping this is something old & valuable?

It's 35"T x 14"W

Any information or thoughts on it (is it brass or copper?) - is it a winner?

Looks decorative. Could be patinated to make it look like copper. Looks like ut might of been outside. Possibly for plant or something like that.

 

Looks like the kind of ashtray they used to fill with sand.

 

Cool find..Looks like a vintage copper pedestal planter or planter stand to me (or maybe the lion head pulls are brass) But the whole thing actually looks like copper to me..

 

I see the term ‘jardiniere’ also being used. Don’t know what you paid. But it looks like a ‘winner’ to me..
