Any thoughts on this piece?

    Kasperscuriosities Two hundred years too late.

    Stands about 18" tall. The owner said it is very very old. It does look old. It has some chips it isn't in perfect condition that's for sure but I thought it might have some value to it still. I really don't know but it is interesting.

    Looks Italian-ish (Spanish?) to me. If you turn the picture of the markings 90 degrees to the left, there appear to be letters starting with C and ending with poli de.

    Yeah sorry i meant rotate that picture before posting.

    To me it looks like Catmpoli de which makes no sense.

    Google keeps correcting me to campolide pottery but nothing under that looks similar.

    Campolide is a Portuguese civil parish (freguesia) in the municipality of Lisbon.
    (I think I got that from Wikipedia. Sorry, I saved the clip of text, but forgot to save the link.)

    No siggy shown at the Worthpoint link, but the crown with cross over shield is similar, but not so nicely painted...
