I found these at a local thrift store 2 days ago & bought them (for $80!) because I am trying to expand from all the art I usually buy (and because they haven't had anything be donated lately!).
I tried image search but kept getting marine brass lamps & lanterns?
They have no name and I think they are made of alabaster? but that's a guess.
Any information or thoughts would be appreciated.
    Thank you

Would they hang so light shines down - to see where your walking etc. Or aging up toward ceiling?

I'd say up - like torches. You might search "torchiere".

Would say they are alabaster. Would call these retro-deco, 1980s or so.

    Cool look to them, though!
